Windows 11 GIFs Now Animated in File Explorer
GIF Toggle Option
Microsoft has introduced a new feature in Windows 11 that allows users to toggle the animation of GIFs in File Explorer. This means that GIFs will now appear as animated images in the preview pane, rather than as static images. The feature is optional and can be enabled or disabled in the File Explorer settings.
Creating a GIF Folder
Creating a GIF folder in Windows 11 is a simple task. Simply create a new folder and then change the folder's icon to a GIF image. You can do this by right-clicking on the folder and selecting "Properties." Then, click on the "Customize" tab and select "Change Icon." Finally, browse to the location of the GIF image you want to use and click "OK."
Additional Features
In addition to the GIF toggle option, Windows 11 also includes a number of other new features related to GIFs. For example, users can now animate windows when minimizing and maximizing them. This feature can be enabled in the Settings app.
